Vocals setup checklist

This is a condensed checklist if you already know what everything does. For more info on each, read on below

Music stand

• Music stand assembled & positioned

Mic

• Placed on music stand
• Connected to XLR cable to the Mixer

OPTIONAL - Only when needed

• Mic stand (from the hall)
• Mic no. 2 connected to XLR cable to the Mixer

Placement

Front & Center at the middle of the stage

Setup

For the simple setup, we just need to hook up the mic, and setup the music stand. The mic can stay on the music stand.

If required, then we can setup the mic stand, provided by the hall. Mostly only needed if the worship leader is also playing guitar.

If 2 mics are required, then we’ll want to setup and put it on the mic stand. Eg: When there are backup singers.

Step-by-Step

1. Setup music sheet stand

   • The music sheet stand is in its own bag
2. Take Mic & Plug cable to mixer

   • Mic and cable is in the audio bag
   • The cable is labeled
   • Prefer mic 1 slot rather than 2 when only using 1 mic
