Cajon setup checklist

This is a condensed checklist if you already know what everything does. For more info on each, read on below

Cajon

• Cajon to correct position
• Accessory on its side

Mic

• Mic stand & mic on the hole
• XLR cable from mic to Mixer

Placement

The Cajon should be on the right of the stage, next to the speaker

Setup

Cajon is mic’d up to the mixer. It looks kinda like this:

This is the mic we use. We have 2 types of mic. Please use the correct one

This is the mic stand we use. There are other types in the hall. Please use the correct one

Set the accessories like so:

Finally, connect XLR cable from the mic to the Mixer

Step-by-Step

1. Place Cajon & its accessories

   • There’s a kick box that sticks on the side of the Cajon. And also a stick that slots into it
2. Setup mic stand behind the Cajon

   • Use the correct mic stand
3. Place mic on stand

   • Use the correct mic
4. Connect XLR audio cable to mixer

   • Use the cable with the Cajon label. The destination is also labeled.
