To connect to the mixer, connect to “Hope Newcastle” WiFi.

There’s too much in Mixing Station to explain here. So try it out or watch a youtube video to familiarize yourself with the app.

Setup Inputs

Sometimes we add or remove instruments. Eg: Extra vocals, etc. When this happens, we hide or show the input so that the app doesn’t get cluttered.

To edit this, hold the Channels button. It’ll open a new page. On this page, you can set which channels to hide and show. You can also re-order them.

Gain Staging

The first thing you want to do is gain staging.

Adjust volume by ear

Then you can use the fader to adjust the volume.

Tip: You probably want to increase the Cajon fader far above the other inputs.

EQ

If in doubt, just leave it as it is.

There are much more to this than what is written here. But I think it’s best to learn this through videos or other means.
